The Requirements

CLOSE PROTECTION / SANCTUS

THE REQUIREMENTS

A clear brief. A proportionate response.

Every protection assignment starts with defining its purpose. A clear understanding of the requirements helps establish the scope, preparation and coordination needed.

DEFINING THE ASSIGNMENT

An initial discussion establishes the general nature of the requirement, the expected timeframe and the relevant operating environment. This creates a basis for considering whether and how protective support can be provided.

The scope of an assignment is discussed in relation to the individual’s needs and the assessed risk. Practical arrangements, responsibilities and communication are clarified before the work begins.

01

PURPOSE & SCOPE

Define what the protection is intended to support, who the point of contact is and the general duration of the requirement.

02

PREPARATION

Depending on the assignment, preparation may include risk and threat assessment, protective advance, itinerary review and movement planning.

03

COORDINATION

Agreed communication and clear responsibilities support the practical delivery of an assignment. Changes to the brief should be discussed so arrangements can be reviewed.

Start with a clear conversation.

Provide your contact details and a brief, non-sensitive outline of your requirements. Specific arrangements are discussed directly; submitting an enquiry does not confirm availability or acceptance of an assignment.
